seperatelly. then i assembled it. i am no expert, and dont consider myself in any way a machine expert, but there is just too many chances that a machine shop could make a small mistake in assembly, such as putting a rod cap on backwards or something simple like that. where as when i do it myself i can double or triple check everything.yeah, im not saying everyone should do this, but its definitelly an option for those that are wary about letting someone build the motor. (especially in my case, where the machine shop never bored a v6 before, let alone a import block.) not that there are many differences, but still, i would put a lot more faith in myself than in them. =)
